    🔒 Your trip data is stored as a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive — not on our servers. We have no external database.
  

1. Who We Are

TRIPnTRIKS is a group travel planning and expense tracking app developed by Quiet Logic Solutions. You can contact us at quietlogicsolutions@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

TRIPnTRIKS collects only what is necessary to run the app:

Google Account Email — used to identify the trip organizer and distinguish them from travelers. We do not store this on any external server.
Trip Data — trip names, dates, travelers, expenses, itinerary items, chat messages, and documents you enter. This data is stored exclusively in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in your own Google Drive.

3. How We Use Your Data

To display your trips and trip data within the app
To identify you as the trip organizer
To allow you to share trip access with invited travelers

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than running the app.

4. Google Drive Access

TRIPnTRIKS requests access to your Google Drive to:

Create a folder called "TRIPnTRIKS Trips" in your Drive
Create and manage spreadsheets inside that folder to store your trip data

We only access files that the app itself creates. We do not read, modify, or access any of your existing personal Google Drive files.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

Google — as the platform that hosts your Drive and runs the app
Affiliate partners (Agoda, Klook, Airalo) — only when you explicitly tap an affiliate link. We do not share personal data with them automatically.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your trip data lives in your Google Drive. You can delete it at any time by deleting the spreadsheet files from your Drive. We retain no copies on external servers.

7. Security

Trip data is secured by Google's own Drive permissions. Only you and people you explicitly share the trip link with can access trip data. Travelers are additionally protected by per-traveler passcodes set by the organizer.

8. Children's Privacy

TRIPnTRIKS is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
